The Cosmopolitan is my favorite Las Vegas hotel for many reasons: the wink-wink Do Not Disturb signs, the easy walk to Dolce and Gabbana at the Crystal Shops, the snacks in the high-rollers slot machine area, and those divine pork buns at Momofuku.
If you’ve got one of those lovely suites at the Cosmopolitan with the balcony and with the killer view of the Bellagio fountains, you can’t do any better than spend dinner in your room with a bottle of wine and a pizza. Sit outside on that balcony and enjoy the dancing fountain and night lights on The Strip. And you don’t have to go very far for some really tasty pizza, but I’m not going to tell you exactly where it is. Cosmopolitan’s Secret Pizza is deliberately unmarked! Here’s a clue, though: to look for a hallway lined with vintage Italian album covers and you’re there. It’s an unadorned, utilitarian space: white tiled walls with black trim and a wide gilded cornice, just a couple of TVs turned to sports, and an old Monopoly pinball machine: You can get a slice or take away a whole pie. It’s really tasty pizza with a thin, chewy crust, savory sauce that’s light on the garlic. The cheese is nicely browned. You can also order IPA beers, fountain drinks, and cannolis. Secret Pizza is located in the Cosmopolitan Hotel, Las Vegas. Have fun finding it!
