The Cosmopolitan is my favorite Las Vegas hotel for many reasons: the wink-wink Do Not Disturb signs, the easy walk to Dolce and Gabbana at the Crystal Shops, the snacks in the high-rollers slot machine area, and the pork buns at Momofuku. But in my mind, if you’ve got one of those lovely suites at the Cosmopolitan with the balcony and with the killer view of the Bellagio fountains, you can’t do any better than spend dinner in your room with a bottle of wine and a pizza and enjoy the show. And the best part of the Cosmopolitan is that you don’t have to go very far for some really tasty pizza – if you know where to go. The unmarked Secret Pizza spot is in the hotel. I’m not going to tell you exactly where, just know to look for a hallway lined with vintage Italian album covers and you’re there. It’s an unadorned, utilitarian space: white tiled walls with black trim and a wide gilded cornice, just a couple of TVs turned to sports and an old Monopoly pinball machine: Monopoly board inside a pinball machine Stop in for a slice or a whole pie. It’s really tasty pizza with a thin, chewy crust, savory sauce light on the garlic, and nicely browned cheese.  You can get IPA beers, fountain drinks, and cannolis.
